Clothing Drive for April!
Collecting donations at meeting on Sunday April 13 - or contact Sheridan Earle to arrange separate drop off.
We will be collecting new and gently used clothes for The Blessing Shop in Norristown at this month's in person meeting! They will take any clean clothes or shoes, but have the greatest need for:
Men's clothing - especially casual pants (jeans, sweatpants, etc.) and shoes/sneakers
Children's clothing - especially boys sizes 4-16
The Blessing Shop offers a free clothing store for anyone to come in and take what they need. They also offer other services for the area including free hair cuts, low income housing and workforce development training. They are truly making an impact on our local community and are thrilled that we will be running a clothing drive for them! I dropped off a few things last week and everyone was so welcoming and kind.
So clean out your closets or enjoy a little retail therapy picking up a few items to help out our neighbors this month. Please contact me if you will need to arrange drop-off outside of our regular meeting!
We also need our May drive location - if you have a community organization in mind, please let me know!
